WORCESTER Phyllis H. (Sonta) Daly, 92, formerly of Sigel St., died Saturday, June 10th in St Francis Home.
Her husband, Michael J. Daly died in1991. She leaves a daughter, Barbara A. Pariseau of Millbury; two grandchildren, Karen A. OTM)Gassian of Millbury and Philip W. Pariseau of Franklin; two great-grandchildren, Neil P. Norquist and Ashley M. Norquist; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, John and Maryanna (Witkowski) Sonta and two brothers, Chester J. Sota and Edward J. Sonta. She lived in Worcester all her life.
Mrs. Daly was a stitcher for 35 years, working at R & G Neckwear and Dulmaine Brothers before she retired in 1970. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and a former member of the Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, June 14th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Mass. Chapter 311 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472.
