MILLBURY – Phyllis L. (Christie) Smalley, 78, died Tuesday, Aug. 4th in the Knollwood Nursing Center in West Boylston.
She leaves two daughters, Donna Egloff and her husband Ronald of South Salem, NY and Karen Paquette and her husband Edmond of Millbury; three granddaughters, Jennifer Iller and her husband Erik of Holland, Megan Gauthier and her husband Eric of Northbridge and Kerri Paquette of South Grafton; four great granddaughters and two great grandsons; two nephews and a niece. Phyllis was born in Milford and is predeceased by her parents, Harry P. and Christine (Hopkins) Christie.
Phyllis worked for Data General in Westborough retiring in 1993. She was an avid golfer, Celtics fan, loved to travel and a member of the Red Hat Society.
There will be a Celebration of her Life on Saturday, Aug. 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. at her home. Burial arrangements are private. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund of the Knollwood Nursing Center, 87 Briarwood Circle, West Boylston, 01583.
