SUTTON - Priscilla E. (Giard) Moore, 79, of 58 Buttonwood Ave., died Wednesday, June 11, in St. Vincent Hospital, at the Worcester Medical Center, Worcester.
Her husband, Lawrence T. Moore Sr. died in 2000. She leaves two sons, Lawrence T. Moore Jr. of Auburn and David W. Moore of Sutton; two daughters, Maureen E. Valentine-Mara of Quinebaug, Ct. And Kathleen Lapinsky of Worcester; a brother, Tresslian Giard of Mission, Texas ; a sister, Frances Dawson of Oxford; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Two sisters, Blanche Tammi and Theresa Boucher, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Tresslian and Ellen (Lane) Giard and has lived Worcester until moving to Sutton in 1988. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester, in 1941.
Mrs. Moore was a stitcher and while working at the David Clark Co. in Worcester, was involved in the production of suits for astronauts. She retired in 1985.
She was a member of St. MarkTM)s Church and a former member of St. StephenTM)s Church in Worcester, a member of the Daughters of Isabella in Grafton and a member of the Sutton Council on Aging. She was also formerly a leader with Camp Fire Girls in Worcester
The funeral will be held Saturday, June 14, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury (

) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. MarkTM)s Church, 356 Boston Rd.. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 13, at the funeral home.
