MILLBURY Rachel M. (Lachance) Caplette, 76, of 36 Davis Road, died Saturday, Jan. 1st, New Years Day, in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
Her former husband, Alfred E. Caplette died in 1999. She leaves six sons, Ronald E. Caplette of Oxford, Peter J. Caplette of Brookfield, Paul M. Caplette of New Haven, N.Y., Fred J. Caplette of New Pine Creek, Oregon, Philip J. Caplette of Millbury and Kevin P. Caplette of East Brookfield; three daughters. Sheila A. Westerlind of Douglas, Marie A. King of Millbury and Christine M. Palin of North Brookfield; a brother, Roland Lachance of Millbury; two sisters, Renee Hall of Millbury and Rita Lemieux of North Brookfield; nineteen grandchildren, Jennifer, Marc, Nicole, Jason, Lauren, Jessica, Rachel, Derek, Stephanie, Richard, Erica, Christopher, Monica, Sarah, Amanda, Amber, Joseph, Cyndi and Emily; six great-grandchildren. She was born in Millbury, daughter of Lucien and Agnes M. (Jacques) Lachance. Our beloved mother and Memere will be sadly missed by all.
Mrs. Caplette was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, Jan. 5th. from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 10 Waters St., Millbury. Burial will be in West Millbury Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 4th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
