December 6, 1928 — October 3, 2003

OXFORD Ralph S. "Sonny" White Jr., 74, of 126 Leicester St., formerly of Sutton, died Friday, Oct. 3 in his home, after being stricken ill.

He leaves his wife, Magdalene (Travers) White of Webster; six sons, John White of Texas, John F. White of Hawaii, Ralph White III of Ill., Christoper W. White of Worcester, Timothy White of North Oxford and Todd White of Webster; 9 daughters, Kathy Rybak of Youngstown, Florida, Jackie Hastings of Cherry Valley, Rose Everett of Temecula, Ca., Laura May White of Idaho, Tina Boucher of North Oxford, Tammy Franciose of Westboro, Terry Masterson of Whitinsville, Dee Dee Naughton of Worcester and Tracy DiRienzo of Uxbridge; ; a brother Lee E. White of Wilkinsonville; five sisters, Janice M. Marando and Shirley A. Cotto Saldana both of Sutton, Bernice L. Brown of Milford, June E. Karas of Brookfield, Barbara J. Lavalle of Worcester; 31 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. A sister, Joan Paquette predeceased him. He was born in Milford, son of Ralph S. White Sr. and Dorothy R. (Webster) White and formerly lived in Sutton and Rhode Island.

Mr. White was a self-employed salesman most of his life. He was an Army veteran during WW II. He enjoyed fishing and was a car enthusiast.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery, Sutton. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mercy Center, 25 West Chester St., Worcester, Ma. 01605.
