MILLBURY- Ray L. Peare, 73, died Tuesday, February 5th in his son's home in Millbury, after a long illness.
He leaves a son, Ray P. Peare and his wife, Lisa of Millbury and their two children, Anthony and Julia Peare; a daughter, Kristina Peare and her husband Matthew Boesch of Concord, NH; his former wife, Jean O. (Carbonneau) Peare of Millbury. He was born in Rumford, Maine son of Ernest and Evelyn (Bean) Peare and has lived in Millbury for many years.
Ray owned and operated Ray Peare Garage Doors since 1965, a business which his son continues today. He was an Army veteran and was a very active leader and former Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop #109 in Millbury. His favorite pastime was picking blueberries and strawberries.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 11th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid's Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 10th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Summit ElderCare, 55 Masonic Home Rd., Charlton, MA 01507.
