Raymond E. Godbout, 72, passed away Friday, September 4th in the Life Care Center of Auburn after a brief battle with Alzheimer's.
Ray leaves his wife of 43 years, Jeanine (Gonya) Godbout; two children, Cheryl Godbout and her husband, Hugo Quintero of Medford and Ryan Godbout of Millbury; three grandchildren, Jonathan and Nicholas Quintero and Abigail Godbout; a brother, Richard Godbout of Whitinsville; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Leo and Margaret (Jordan) Godbout.
Ray was a custodian for the Millbury Public School retiring after 35 years of service. He served in the National Guard. Ray enjoyed playing bingo, dancing and his daily walks around town.
Ray's calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 8th from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.
His funeral will held on Wednesday, Sept. 9th with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main Street in Millbury. Burial will follow in St. Brigid Cemetery.
