OXFORD / MILLBURY Raymond L. Perron, 83, of Oxford, formerly of Millbury, died Wednesday, July 19th in Lanessa Extended Care Nursing Home, Webster.
He leaves his wife of 61 years, Doris M. (Legassey) Perron; a son, William D. Perron and his wife Denise of Millbury; a daughter, Sandra L. Packard of Shrewsbury; a brother, Eugene Perron of Grafton; a grandson Scott Packard of Boylston; nephews and nieces. He was born in Millbury and is predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Alphonsine (Bachand) Perron and a sister, Claudia.
Mr. Perron was a tool maker for General Electric Co. and also worked at Holy Cross College, before retiring. He was a Navy veteran of WW II.
His funeral will be held Saturday, July 22nd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. RochTM)s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
