Raymond E. Quillen, 68, passed through death into eternal life with Jesus on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in his home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.
Ray leaves his wife of 42 years, Joyce (Pierce) Quillen; two daughters, Candice Merrick and her husband, Hal of Millbury and Brandy Chamness of Spring Hill, FL; six grandchildren and one great grandson; three sisters, Clara Machonis of Millbury, Nancy Parker of Winthrop and Elaine Marin of Spring Hill, FL; a brother, Albert Quillen of Millbury; many nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Everett and Dorothy (Dykstra) Quillen.
Ray was a driver for Commercial Carrier Corporation for 23 years, retiring in 2010. He loved to ride his motorcycle, fishing from his boat and Friday nights with his friends at the bike shop.
All are invited to a service to celebrate Ray's life on Sunday, September 22nd at 11 a.m. in his sister's home at 32 Carleton Road in Millbury, MA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to Project New Hope, P.O. Box 91, Leicester, MA 01524.
