CHATHAM - Richard A. Bordeaux, 88, of Chatham, MA and Ft. Lauderdale, FL, died Thursday, Sept. 8th at Pleasant Bay Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
He leaves his wife, Nancy G. (Frappier) Bordeaux; a sister, Barbara Harley of Harvard; nieces and nephews; a cousin, Paul Edwards of Orleans. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Foster H. and Rosa (Turner) Bordeaux, two brothers, Lincoln H. Bordeaux and Robert Bordeaux.
He retired from the former Millbury Motor Co in Millbury in 1993 and was a Corporal in the U.S. Army, during the Korean War. He enjoyed cars, antiques, the beach, traveling and boating. He was a member of St. Martin's Lodge in Chatham.
Richard's graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14th at Howard Cemetery, Armsby Rd. in Sutton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Martin's Lodge, P. O. Box 255, Chatham, MA 02633 or the Chatham Fire Association, 135 Depot Rd., Chatham, MA 02633. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
