MILLBURY- Richard P. Brown, 63, unexpectedly passed away on August 29th in his home.
Rich is survived by his son, Daniel Brown, his daughter-in-law Kate and their children, Brennen and Everleigh, his brother Willian Brown and his sister-in-law Carol, his sister Janet Snow and his brother-in-law Pete Snow, and his sister Theresa Parr. Rich is predeceased by his mother, Evelyn T. (Bernard) Brown, his father, David F. Brown, and his granddaughter, Ella Brown.
Rich was a graduate of the class of 1978 in Millbury, Massachusetts. He was a lifelong mechanic that held several certifications in automotive repair. He was a long-time employee of Bancroft Motors, formerly in Worcester, Ma and most recently Bertera Nissan in Auburn, Ma where he was the Manager of the Parts Department. Rich was an avid New England sports fan, especially for the Boston Bruins. He loved to golf whenever he could get a tee time, but his passion was the Worcester Dart League and playing in tournaments with his dart family.
Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Rich’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, Sept. 5th from 5 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. His funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 6th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Boston Children’s Hospital where Rich’s granddaughter lost her battle with a rare autoinflammatory disease.
