SUTTON Richard A. Grant, 81 died Tuesday, June 30th in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves his wife, Joan L. (Harrington) Grant; three daughters, Martha L. Murphy of Northborough, Britt A. Berthiaume of Worcester and Kelley J. Richard of Auburn; six grandchildren, Julie, Paul, Sean, Brittany, Peter, and Andrew; two sisters, Harriette and Janice; nephews and nieces.
Richard was a truck driver for 32 years and worked for Chemical Sales and Service in Worcester, before he retired. He was a veteran of the National Guard and a member of the Local Teamsters Union #170.
A private graveside service will be held in Howard Cemetery, in Sutton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Sutton Elders 19 Houghton Street Sutton, MA 01590-2711. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
