WORCESTER Richard J. Hopkins, 81, died Thursday, February 18th after a period of declining health.
Richard leaves his wife of 53 years, Cornelia (Mueller) Hopkins; two daughter, Diane Fenzel and her husband Thomas of Shirley and Gayle Hopkins of Marlborough; two granddaughters, Jessica and Noel Fenzel; a great grandson, Damien Lewis; a sister, Thelma Westlake and her husband David; a brother, David Hopkins and his wife Elise; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret (Jefferson) Hopkins, a son, Douglas Hopkins, a brother, John Hopkins and two sisters, Eleanor MacLeod and Carolyn Hopkins.
RichardTM)s funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23rd in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, MA. Calling hours are from 9 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donorTM)s choice.
