MILLBURY Richard A. Langlais, 66, of 160 Wheelock Ave., died Tuesday, July 5th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, after being stricken ill at home.
He leaves his wife, Beverly A. (Lucier) Langlais; three sons, Peter A. Langlais of Millbury, Bruce A. and his wife Karen Langlais of Dudley and Robert A. Langlais and his girl friend, Tara Palermo of Worcester; a brother, Roger and his wife, Marcella Langlais and a sister, Patricia Durand both of Woonsocket, R.I.; six grandchildren; a nephew and six nieces. He was born in Whitinsville, son of Theodore and Isabella (Jacques) Langlais.
He was a baker at Automatic Rolls of New England in Dayville, CT for 30 years, retiring three years ago. He was an Air Force veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Worcester and the Bakery and Confectionary Union. His hobbies were sports and Fox Woods and enjoyed being with his family
His funeral will be held Saturday, July 9th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 8th, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics of Massachusetts, P.O. Box 322, Hathorne, MA 01937-0322.
