HOLDEN - Richard R. Stratford, 58, of 56 Boyden St., formerly of Millbury and Sutton, died Tuesday, March 27, in St. Vincent Hospital at the Worcester Medical Center, Worcester.
He leaves a son, Richard Stratford; his mother, Ruth D. (Stratford) Puchek of Sutton; a half-sister, Sandra J. Puchek of Sutton; grandchildren; nieces. He was born in Worcester. His step-father, Paul J. Puchek of Sutton, died in December and a half-sister, Sharon R. Emery of Sutton died many years ago. He graduated from Millbury Memorial High School.
Mr. Stratford was a machinist years ago and was a member of St. Brigids Church in Millbury. He was an artist and painted by mouth because of his paralyzes.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31 in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be private in Central Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 main St., Millbury is in charge of the arrangements.
