CHARLTON - Richard A. "Tracky" Taraskiewicz, 51, of*23 Willis Dr., formerly of Millbury, died Friday, July 11, at UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
He leaves a son, Chad Barcellona-Taraskiewicz of Salisbury; a brother, Tony B. Taraskiewicz of Millbury; four sisters, Jo A. Warren of Orlando, Fl., Sandra L. Taraskiewicz of San Diego, Ca., Marcia J. Taraskiewicz of Millbury and Amy L. Cook of Houghton Lake, Mi..; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Francis T. And Patricia P. (Briggs) Taraskiewicz and lived in Millbury until moving to Charlton 3 years ago. He graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1969.
Mr. Taraskiewicz was a bartender at Waterfront MaryTM)s in Webster and at Mt. Wachusett ski area in Princeton. He also worked for Jack Moore Associates in Worcester and he owned and operated Tree Care Etc.
He was a member of the Auburn SportsmanTM)s Club in Auburn, the P.N.I. Club in Worcester and the National Ski Patrol.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury (

). Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday July 16, in the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, in Central Cemetery, Waters St., Millbury.
