SUTTON – Richard E. Tucker Sr, 77, died Friday, March 11th in his home, surrounded by his family.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Marjorie C. (Flury) Tucker; six children, Darylene Perry and her husband, Edward of Millbury, Deborah Witkowski and her fiancée Chuck Coppens, of Englewood, FL, Ginny Fisher and her husband, David of Millbury, Richard E. Tucker Jr. and his wife, Theresa of Worcester, Michael Tucker and his wife Cathy, of Millbury and Carrie Tucker of Sutton; a sister, Georgia Perry and her husband, David of Douglas; a uncle, Stuart Anderson of Sutton; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was born in Bourne, son of George and Virginia (Anderson) Tucker.
He was an U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran and an avid sportsman. He was a welder at G.F. Wright Steel & Wire Co. in Worcester for 42 years, retiring in 1997.
A private funeral service will be held at Mulhane Home for Funerals, in Millbury. Burial will be private in Central Cemetery in Millbury.
