Richard Valentino

Richard P. Valentino, 77, died Friday, July 29th at Care One at Millbury, with his family by his side.

He leaves his wife, Eleanor J. (Bosford) Valentino; two sons, Richard A. Valentino of Millbury and Scott P. Valentino and his wife, Barbara of Oxford; a granddaughter, Erica Valentino; two step-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Samantha Wightman; a brother, Robert Valentino of Oxford; a sister, Joan Newman; nephews. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary (Plouffe) Valentino.

Richard was a self-employed landscaper. He was a former member of the Millbury Board of Appeals, the Millbury Charter Committee, the Franco American Progressive Club and was an assistant scout master of Troop 108, all in Millbury.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, Aug. 2nd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1st in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury.
