MILLBURY Rita E. (Mackowiak) Beasley, 78, died Tuesday, March 23rd in her home, after being stricken ill.
She leaves her husband, Walter R. Beasley; four children, James W. Beasley and his wife, Evonne of Millbury, Lori J. Piscitelli and her husband, Steven of Millbury, Nancy A. Bousquet and her husband, Jack of Holland and Candace M. Dranginis and her husband, Louis of Sturbridge; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Mackowiak and his wife, Jean of Florida; nephews and nieces. She was born in Webster and is predeceased by her parents, Leon and Frances (Kaminski) Mackowiak and a brother, Leon Mackowiak.
Rita was a bookkeeper for the Upper Blackstone Valley Abatement District in Worcester for 11 years, retiring 20 years ago. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. The babies always made her smile.
Her funeral will be held Friday, March 26th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 25th in the funeral home.
