MILLBURY – Rita L. (Payette) Gosselin Lagor, 85, died Friday, Nov. 15th in the St Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Worcester.
Her 1st husband, George Gosselin died in 1970 and her second husband, Alfred F. Lagor Sr. died in 1995. She leaves two sons, Richard P. Gosselin and his wife Cheryl Corbin Gosselin of Millbury and George Gosselin of Arizona; three grandsons, Brian, Kevin and Patrick Gosselin and a sister, Simone Johnson of Albany GA. She was born in Vermont and is predeceased by her parents, Euclid and Sadie (Duffy) Payette and a brother, Earnest Payette of RI.
Rita was a seamstress most of her life, before she retired. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Millbury. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, cross puzzles and Sunday dinners with her family.
Rita's calling hours are Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23rd with a funerals service to follow at 2 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be private in St. Brigid Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Veterans Inc. 69 Grove St. in Worcester, MA 01605.
