Robert J. Anderson, 49, of Worcester, formerly of Millbury, died Friday, April 12, 2013, after being stricken ill at home.
He is predeceased by his wife, Jeryl A. (Picking) Anderson who died in 2009. He leaves two children, Scott E. Anderson of Millbury and Valerie H. Anderson of Grafton, formerly of Millbury; a sister, Lynn wife of Joe Quitadamo, a niece Emily Quitadamo and a nephew, Joey Quitadamo all of Worcester; his best friend, Richard Fox of Millbury and many other close friends. He loved his cat Sadie Mae.
He graduated from Millbury Memorial High School, before going to work in the family business, Tatnuck Seafood in Worcester with his parents and became owner, before the business closed. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking.
There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday, April 19th in Central Cemetery, West and Waters St. in Millbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to the UMASS Memorial Foundation - Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, 333 South St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545. Mulhane Home for Funerals, in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
