WORCESTER - Robert A. Cloutier, 75, of 26 Harvard St., died Friday, June 27, in St. Vincent Hospital, at the Worcester Medical Center.
He leaves his former wife, Constance L. (Paul) Cloutier of Sutton; a daughter, Donna L. Thomas of Millbury; two grandchildren, Erica Jean Eames of New Hampshire and Danny R. Thomas Jr. of Worcester; two great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Joseph and Louise (Matteson) Cloutier and has lived in Worcester all his life.
Mr. Cloutier was a mason and carpenter at the Worcester State Hospital for 14 years, retiring in 1990. Previously he worked at Hardy Knife Co. In Worcester and Chaffins Garage in Holden. He was a Navy veteran during WW II.
He was a member of Big JoeTM)s Band many years ago and recently he help organize entertainment at the Lake Avenue Apartments and was a volunteer at the Senior Center, in Shrewsbury.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Massachusetts Affiliate, Inc., 20 Speen Street, Framingham, Mass. 01701-4688.
