Robert B. Girard, 86, died Sunday, Dec. 6th in the Overlook Masonic Home in Charlton.
His wife, Catherine J. (Duda) Girard died in 2013. He leaves nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Fred C. and Edna J. (Bullard) Girard and a brother, Frank Girard. He lived in Sutton all his life.
Robert graduated from Sutton High School and worked at the Wyman Gordon Co in Grafton for 31 years, retiring in 1991. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury.
There will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery in Sutton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sutton Fire or Police Departments, 4 Uxbridge Road, Sutton, MA 01590.
