Robert W. Goyette, 79, died Sunday, Jan. 11th in St. Mary Health Care Center in Worcester.
Bob leaves his wife, Joan C. (Charette) Goyette; a son, Robert F. Goyette and his wife, Lora of Millbury; four daughters, Cheryl A. Seymour of Auburn, Dian L. Mardirosian and her husband, Kenneth of Dudley, Laura Jean Feige and her husband, Paul of Thompson, CT and Suzanne M. Barnhill and her husband Jeffrey of North Myrtle Beach, SC; eight grandchildren, Richard, Kristen, Lisa, Kenneth, Julia, Erin, Samantha and Jake; three great grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Goyette; two brothers, Raymond and David Goyette; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son-in-law, Richard C. Seymour and six siblings.
Robert was a veteran of both the United States Army and Marine Corp. He was an active member of the community serving as a coach for Millbury Little League and player/coach of the Millbury Men's Softball League. Bob made a lot of great memories and life-long friends at Windle Field and the Old Time Inn.
PeeWee will always be remembered for a good joke and a good laugh. Pepe loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Bob's calling hours will be held on Thursday, Jan. 15th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 16th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary's Health Care Center Activities Fund, 39 Queen Street, Worcester, MA 01610.
