MILLBURY - Robert J. Juneau, 89, formerly of Pineland Ave. and Park Hill Ave, died Wednesday Jan. 9th in Christopher House of Worcester.
Mr. Juneau's wife, Helen M. (Polanik) Juneau died in December of 1993. He leaves a son, Robert G. and his wife Patricia M. (Fox) Juneau, a daughter, Nancie T. wife of Robert J. Sharron all of Millbury; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Bertha (Winchester) Juneau and two sisters, Gladys Tamulis and Edith O'Connor.
Robert worked in the forge department as a hammer operator at the Wyman-Gordon Company in Worcester for 44 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Retired Men's Club of Greendale, where he participated in their golf and bowling leagues and was also a member the Wyman-Gordon Retirement Gung-Ho Club. He was a volunteer at the Millbury Senior Center and was former usher at St. Brigid's Church.
His funeral will be held Saturday, January 12th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. St. Brigid's Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 11th at the funeral home.
