SUTTON – Robert W. Sardnola, 74, a retired business owner, died Monday Nov. 3rd peacefully at home, surrounded by his family and friends.
He leaves his loving wife of 49 years, Carol S. (Boisvert) Sardnola; three sons, Robert Sardnola and his wife Patricia of Shrewsbury, James Sardnola and his wife Amy and John Sardnola and his wife Yong of Sutton; a brother Paul A. Sardagnola of Worcester, a sister, Janet and her husband Leo Tivnan of Boylston; a sister-in-law Joyce M. Sardagnola of Sutton; a sister-in-law Ann R. and her husband Dan Hallisey of Holbrook, a granddaughter, Holly Sardnola, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Alphonse and Ruth (Howard) Sardnola.
He served in the U.S. Army at Fort Benning GA. He owned and operated Harding Supply Co. of Worcester, retiring in 1990.
The family wishes to thank all the caregivers over the years, especially those affiliated with Summit Elder Care.
His funeral Mass will be held at Noon on Saturday Nov. 8th in St. John's Church, 44 Temple St. in Worcester. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in Pigeon Hill Cemetery in Sutton.
