MILLBURY – Robert J. Sharron, 66, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 in his home, after being stricken ill.
He leaves his wife of 32 years, Nancy T. (Juneau) Sharron; six children, Keith Sharron and his wife Linda, of Rehoboth, Dawn Vacca and her husband Domenic of South Kingstown, RI, Tony Enos of Millbury, Jason Enos and his significant other Shannon Henderson, of Millbury, Robert Todisco and Stacy Sharron of RI; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Dr. Candice Sharron of California; a brother, Donald Sharron and his wife Joan, of Boylston; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Donald E. and Helen L. (Durost) Sharron and a sister, Judy Dupre. He graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1964.
He retired from Anchor Motor Freight after 25 years and was also an avid carpenter. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #170 in Worcester. He coached Youth Baseball and was involved in Boy Scouting for many years, all in Millbury. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, spending time with his family and summers in Kennebunk, Maine.
His funeral will be held Thursday, March 7th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday March 6th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association of Massachusetts, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
