Rochelle Marie Laporte, 17, died December 29th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, after a brief illness.
She leaves her father, Michael A. Laporte of Worcester, her mother, Sally (Milkman) Laporte of Michigan, her step-mother, Margaret M. Balise of Worcester; a brother, Russell Laporte of Worcester; a step-brother, Joshua Balise of Chicopee; a step-sister, Brianna Balise of Worcester; her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Barbara (LaBree) Laporte of Worcester; many aunts and uncles; two nephews and many cousins.
Rochelle was a member of St. Brigid Church and an avid animal lover. Rochelle attended Worcester Technical High School and North High School, both in Worcester.
Her smile and laugh would light up the room. She will be forever loved and never forgotten.
Rochelle's Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
