Roger Comeau

June 16, 1953 — September 20, 2004

OXFORD Roger W. Comeau, 51, of 35 Church St., formerly of Millbury, died Monday, Sept. 20th in his home, surrounded by his family, after an illness.

He leaves a son, Jason R. Comeau of Millbury; two daughters, Beth M. Johnson of Oxford and Katie L. Comeau of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.; two sisters, Carol Troiano of Oxford and Susan Dufresne of Auburn; four brothers, George Comeau of Spencer, Roger F. Comeau and Ronald Comeau both of Worcester and Richard Comeau of East Brookfield; five grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his step-father, Ralph Putnam and his mother, Bridgett (Gillette) Putnam and a sister, Elaine Dulmaine.

Mr. Comeau was a machinist at NENSCO in Millbury for 14 years. Previously he worked at Smith Valve.

He was a baseball umpire and a baseball and soccer coach with the Millbury Youth Soccer and Millbury Little League. He was an avid bowler and horse shoe player. He followed the New England sports teams and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held, Thursday, Sept. 23rd at 10 a.m. in Pigeon Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Sept 22nd from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury.
