MILLBURY- Ronald B. Derie, 46, of 253 West Main St., died Wednesday, Nov. 6, in St. Vincent Hospital, at the Worcester Medical Center, Worcester.
He leaves his wife, Linda L. (LaBreck) Woll-Derie; a daughter, Tiffany J. Derie of Millbury; two sons, Christopher M. Woll and Michael P. Woll both of Millbury; a brother, David Derie of Oxford; two grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Raymond H. and Irene G. (Lefrancois) Derie and has lived in Millbury for 20 years. He graduated from St. JohnTM)s High School in Shrewsbury and also graduated from University of Lowell College.
Mr. Derie and his wife owned and operated Elegant Touch Limousine Service. He previously worked as an engineer in the plastic industry.
He was a former member of the Millbury Lions Club and a former coach with the Grafton Youth Hockey League. He was also a former fire-fighter with the Grafton and Millbury Fire Departments. He enjoyed bowling and Nascar racing.
The funeral will be held Monday, Nov. 11 from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. (

), with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in West Millbury Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Massachusetts Affiliate, Inc., 20 Speen Street, Framingham, Mass. 01701-4688.
