Ronald P. Desrosiers, died Monday, Sept. 29th, in his home, surrounded by his family.
He leaves his wife, Beatrice C. (DeProspo) Desrosiers; a daughter; Lisa M. Moquin of Worcester; a son, Michael R. Desrosiers and his wife, Lisa, of Charlton; four grandchildren, Ariel, Elijah, Beau and Madeline; two great-grandchildren, Jacobi and Xander; and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Agnes (Nyholm) Desrosiers and a brother, Richard Desrosiers.He was a truck driver for Teamsters Local Union #170 where he worked for Table Talk Pie, and also for Imperial Distributors, and was awarded for being accident free for over one million miles during his career.In 1958 he won the Silver Skates Medal by a lap and one half. He was an accomplished "Jack of all trades" specializing in rough as well as finish carpentry and strove to assist anyone in need. Also an accomplished mechanic, Ronald was passionate about all facets of automotive repair/rebuilds and a lifelong avid racing fan.He was quick of wit and made everyone laugh with his humor and take on life.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday October 4th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in St. John's Cemetery in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to a charity of your choosing.
