SOUTH GRAFTON – Ronald J. Henault, 61, passed away unexpectedly while working at his job site Friday, Sept. 8th.
Ronald leaves his daughter Jacquelyn Rose Thompson and her husband Brandon of Grafton, his son Andrew Joseph Henault and his significant other Briana Richotte of Northbridge, his grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Brady Joseph, Teigan Jean, Cody Jaxson, Madelyn Rose and Dax Joseph. His mother Susan L. (Osgood) Henault of Sutton and his siblings John C. Henault and his wife, Paula of Sutton, Donna M. Sheehan and her husband, Kevin of North Grafton, Michelle M. Henault of Grafton and Cathy S. Maranda and her husband, Brian of Grafton; his uncle, Rev. John L. Henault O.M.I. of Haiti; his Aunt, Mary A. Mahoney and her husband Robert (Bob) of Uxbridge; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Gerald A. Henault and his brother Richard J.
Ron was the owner/operator of Henault Builders Inc. alongside his son and daughter. Ron grew up in Sutton, MA and graduated from Blackstone Valley Tech in the carpentry program. Ron began his career as a carpenter working for Gosselin Builders. He went on to drive cement mixers for DeFalco Concrete as a member of the Teamsters Local 170. He then founded his own business RJH Carpentry where he built and renovated homes. Ron loved working on different projects from restoring cars, working on his boat and helping family and friends with construction projects. Ron also enjoyed attending his son’s dirt bike races, and his grandchildren’s activities. His favorite things to do were, to spend time on his boat in Narragansett Bay and to vacation in warmer places. Ron was often found with one of his grandchildren on his lap operating his excavator, driving his plow truck, steering his boat or playing with his watch.
Family and friends are invited to remember Ron’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, Sept. 15th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 16th at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 89 Main Street, South Grafton. Burial will be private.
