Ronald R. Woodward, 77, died Saturday, Jan. 18th at Notre Dame Hospice at St. Francis Home in Worcester, after a ten year battle with Macroglobulinemia.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Barbara T. (Riel) Woodward; three children, Kevin R. Woodward of Auburn, Gregg A. Woodward of Millbury and Beth A. Woodward of Auburn; a granddaughter, Abigail S. Woodward of Oxford; a sister Janice R. Girouard of Millbury. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Chester S. and Bernice L. (Molloy) Woodward.
Ronald was an insurance agent for H.A. Daniels Insurance Agency in Milford and ended his career at Shea & Poor Insurance Agency in Worcester. He was U. S. Army veteran. He enjoyed traveling including Las Vegas, cruises to the Caribbean, weekends at Hampton Beach and crossword puzzles. The family would like to thank Dr. Saleem Khanani and the nurses especially Shelley at St. Vincent Oncology.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, Jan. 21st from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury.
Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20th in the funeral home and burial will be private in St. Philip's Cemetery in Grafton.
