MILLBURY – Rosalind M. (Richard) McLaughlin, 81, died Saturday July 10th in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Rosalind leaves her husband of 63 years, Edward H. McLaughlin; five children, Cheryl A. Richardson and her husband Alan of West Greenwich, RI, Richard F. McLaughlin and his wife Jean of Fort Myers, FL, Susan L. Larosee and her husband Brian of Millbury, John E. McLaughlin and his wife Carol of Oxford and Thomas J. McLaughlin and his wife Cheryl of Auburn; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothy Rock of Southern Pines, NC and Anne Bois and her husband Robert of Sea View, VA. She was born in Uxbridge and is predeceased by her parents, Joseph E. and Emily M. (Fougere) Richard and a daughter Sheila "Kelly" Wintson.
She graduated from Millbury High School in 1946. Rosalind enjoyed gardening, outside activities and crossword puzzles.
Rosalind's funeral will be held Thursday, July 15th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. in Worcester. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are Wednesday, July 14th from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Mass Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
