Rose Neri

MILLBURY - Rose B. Neri, 92, died Tuesday, Nov. 1st in her home, after a long illness.

She leaves her sister, Lena L. Neri with whom she lived. She was born in Millbury and is predeceased by her parents Louis G. and Maria C. (Pititto) Neri and lived in Millbury all her life and was especially close to her sister Lena.

Rose was a home economics instructor at the Millbury High School for many years. She was a member of the Historical Society of Early American Decorators and the American Needlepoint Guild. She graduated from Boston University in 1945 with a degree in Practical Arts. Rose was an accomplished artist in many mediums including oil, water color and needlepoint. She was a cheerful and very positive individual. Her smile was infectious. She will be missed by many friends and family.

Her Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8th in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. in Millbury. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. Millbury, MA 01527
