MILLBURY – Rosemary A., “Rhody” (Baltramaitis) Army, 78, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her devoted, loving family on March 16, the day of her and her beloved husband’s 61st Wedding Anniversary.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James F. Army, her four devoted children, Lisa Strom, her husband, Mark, Jane Lavallee, her partner Martin Evans, Lori Gaspie, her husband, Kerri-John, James A. Army, his wife, Christine, 12 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Jean Gawronski, her husband Mark, two brothers, Joseph Baltramaitis III, his wife, Debra, Robert Baltramaitis, and his wife, Phyliss, several nieces and nephews. Rosemary was pre-deceased by her mother, Marion (Stanley) LaCrosse, her father, Joseph Baltramaitis, his wife, Dorothy, her sister, Joanie, three brothers, David, Paul, Jimmy, two grandsons Keven and Jesse, and two great-grandchildren, Timothy and Amelya.
Rosemary was born in Milford, MA and attended Sutton High School. She worked as a forklift driver at Joseph Leavitt in Worcester and later as a day care teacher in Millbury and Westboro.
She loved being surrounded by all her family, especially her grandchildren, she loved to travel with friends and family, she loved to read, to shop and make Christmas cookies with her grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to remember Rosemary’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Wednesday, March 20th from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 21st at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury with burial to follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
