Rosemary Stachura

MILLBURY – Rosemary E. (Kearney) Stachura, 75, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Rosemary’s husband of 47 years, Stanley F. Stachura passed in 2011.  She leaves a sister Theresa Chad, three children: Rita M. Hevey and her husband Gregory of Worcester, MA, Stanley W. Stachura and his wife, Jennifer, and Frank E. Stachura and his wife, Tammy all of Millbury, five grandchildren: Jessica Bengtson and Stephen Stachura, Amy and John Goodnow, and Christopher Bilodeau, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Rosemary enjoyed her work at iHop, Glavin Regional Center and Honey Dew Donuts. She was a former member of the Millbury Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary. She was passionate about spending time with the family and enjoyed preparing meals for family gatherings. She spent her spare time gardening, swimming and being outdoors. “Rosie”, as those who were close to her called her, was adored by so many.

Family and friends will honor and remember Rosemary’s life with a time of visitation on Tuesday, March 1st from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

Her funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 2nd at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial with will follow at Central Cemetery, Millbury.
