MILLBURY – Roy A. Anderson, 84, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 29th at the Millbury Health Care Center in Millbury.
He leaves his wife and best friend of 54 years, Josephine H. (Mustone) Anderson. Roy was born on February 4, 1926 son of John and Augusta (Larsson) Anderson. He was educated in the Shrewsbury and Holden Schools. Roy also attended the Automotive Technician School in California. He worked in the shipping department at Bay State Abrasive Products Co. for over 40 years.
Roy and Josephine enjoyed many trips together and were avid dancers, having been members of several dance clubs, including ballroom dancing, square dancing, Swedish dancing and line dancing. Roy was a WW II Army veteran, serving in Japan.
Private burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery in Worcester. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
