MILLBURY – Roy Tony "Jack" Hopkins, 68, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 in the Millbury Health Care Center.
He leaves seven brothers, Richard, Russ, Roger, Raymond and Randy Hopkins all of Worcester, Robert Hopkins of Spencer and Ronnie Hopkins of South Carolina. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his mother, Nellie (Polaski) Hopkins; four nieces, Seanna, Rosalie, Cheryl and Roxanne; seven nephews, Christopher, Rick Jr, Shawn, Scott, Derek, Matt, Russell John, Robert Jr. and Joshua.
Anthony was a folk lift operator at New England Grocers for 28 years, before he retired. He was an Army veteran during the Vietnam War, serving in Germany.
A Chapel Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19th at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St. in Winchendon. There are no calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St in Worcester, MA.
