Ruth Gonsorcik

Ruth A. (Aubin) Gonsorcik, 91, passed away Saturday, April 30th after an illness.

Ruth leaves her husband of 65 years, Joseph F. Gonsorcik; two daughters, Jill A. Lavallee and Joyce M. Dufresne and her husband, Duffy all of Millbury; four grandchildren, Keith and Jamy Lavallee, Jessica Berningham and her husband, Jay and Bryan Dufresne; nine great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her great granddaughter, Paige Lavallee.

Ruth was a secretary and book keeper for Ramshorn Mills and Jeffco Fibers, where she retired. She loved to travel, read, shopping and trips to the casino. The family would like to thank Ascend Hospice for all their care and keeping Ruth pain free. The family would also like to thank the staff at CareOne at Millbury, Sutton Unit, for all their care and support, especially Rebekah Fairbanks for being her special angel.

Ruth's calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 4th with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main Street in Millbury. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
