MILLBURY - Ruth M. (Hayward) Kupcinskas, 82 of 139 Millbury Ave., died Sunday, Jan. 12, Radius Healthcare Center at Millbury, after a
long illness.
She leaves her husband of 61 years, Albert P. Kupcinskas, Sr.; a son, Albert P. Kupcinskas, Jr. of Millbury; a sister, Eleanor "BetsyTM)TM) Hall of Millbury; two granddaughters; nieces and nephews.
A brother, Harold "Pete" Hayward, predeceased her.
She was born in Millbury, daughter of Warren and Pearl (Sibley) Hayward and lived here all her life. She graduated from Millbury High School and attended a secretarial and accounting school.
Mrs. Kupcinskas was a secretary and bookkeeper at A K Machine Co., Inc. for 50 years retiring in 1997. She previously worked several years at Heald Machine in Worcester. She also assisted her family with the operation of Hayward Farm and was a school crossing guard for many years at the former Dorothy Manor School.
She was a life long member of Millbury Federated Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed many outdoor activities.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, in Millbury Federated
Church, 20 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 4
to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St.,
