MILLBURY – Sandra M. (Altonen) Bouthillette, 73, died Thursday, Aug. 28th in her home, after an illness.
She leaves her husband, of 51 years, Arthur Bouthillette; three daughters, Paula A. wife of Anthony Krumsiek and Pamela A. wife of Steve Kosiba both of Millbury and Patricia M. Austin of Spencer; a son, Peter A. Bouthillette and his wife, Linda of Millbury; seven grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Sandra was born in Worcester, moving to Millbury in 1961 and is predeceased by her parents Hjalmar J. and Elizabeth (Ford) Altonen, a daughter, Marie and a sister, Ann Becker. She graduated from the former High School of Commerce and the former St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing and attended Quinsigamond Community College
Sandra was an Administrative Coordinator at St. Vincent Hospital where she worked for 42 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of St. Vincent Hospital Nursing Alumni. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday Sept. 2nd from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1st in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
