Scott Carey

Scott B. Carey, 44, passed away suddenly due to injuries sustained in a car accident on Thursday, Jan. 25th.

Scott leaves his wife of 10 years, Sarah J. (Hartley) Carey; a step daughter, Julia R. Tetreault; a daughter, Ava R. Carey; his father, Lawrence Carey of Harrisville, RI and his mother, Dianne (Madore) Carey of Mims, FL; a sister, Shelly Martin and her husband, Adrian of Germantown, TN; many nieces and nephews.  He also leaves behind many friends and extended family.

Scott worked for Cogswell Sprinkler Company of Worcester for many years.  He loved fishing, boating, camping on the beach, playing softball, and hanging out with his friends.  Most of all Scott loved spending time with his family and especially his three girls.  Scott will always be remembered for his sense of humor and being able to light up a room.

Family and friends will honor and remember Scott’s life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, Feb. 1st from 4 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb 2nd at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Road, Sutton.  Burial will be private.
