SUTTON - Shirley “Pat” M. (Mayo) Charest, 90, formerly of Worcester and was born to Joseph and Lillian (LaBombard) Mayo, passed away peacefully at home with her family from natural causes on Monday, November 29th.
Her husband, of 66 years, Alfred “Pete” F. Charest died 2017. She leaves four daughters, Deborah A Fuller her husband Richard of Boylston, Cindy A. King her husband T.A. of Sutton with whom she lived, Pamela A Coppiano her husband Will, of Charlton, and Lisa A. Moon her husband Mark of Whitinsville; ten grandchildren: Michelle and her husband Greg, Brian his wife Julia, Britney her husband JR, Joshua and his fiancé, Shannon, Jairus , John, Jennifer, Kyle and his fiancé, Samantha, Ethan, and Jacob his wife Shannon; eight great grandchildren: Samantha, Owen, Ingrid, Morrison, Grizzly, Tyler, Gavin, and Michael. She also leaves two sisters, Marjorie Charest, Elizabeth Trombly and her husband, Clifton Trombly, Jr.; two brothers, Robert Mayo and Donald Mayo. Along with her husband, Pat is predeceased by a brother, Earl Mayo and grandson, Michael Garnevich.
She retired from the St. Vincent’s Hospital - which allowed Pete and Pat more time on the road with their motor coach. Pat was a BIG Red Sox Fan. Mostly her joy was spending time with family!
The family would like to thank her many caregivers: Bonnie, MaryAnn, Caroline, Krystal and Joyce.
In accordance with Pat’s wishes there will be no service.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 23rd at 11 a.m. in the Reception Hall of The First Congregational Church of Sutton, 307 Boston Road in Sutton, MA.
