Shirley (Hamilton) Tebo, 96 of Millbury passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20th surrounded by her family.
She was the daughter of Charles and Annie (Humphries) Hamilton of Auburn. Shirley is predeceased by her Son David R. Tebo of San Francisco CA; her Brothers Lawrence, Walter, George, Russell, a half-brother Leslie Hamilton and Sister Olive Coulter. Since Birth she had lived together with her brother Russ, and anyone that knows Shirley knows about Russ and the bond they shared.
She is survived by her daughters, Nance Dube of Dudley, Mary Golinski and husband Joe of Sarasota FL, Michelle Tebo and James Houle of Uxbridge. 9 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Shirley was born in Auburn, however spent most of her life living in Millbury. After World War II, she served in the Women’s Auxiliary and was a Den Mother for the Boys Scouts of America. She was a Women of faith, devoted and an active member of the Millbury Baptist Church.
She enjoyed reading the Bible and joining in on Bible Studies. She had a talent for the Arts and showed her creative side by Knitting, Crocheting, Jewelry making and Ceramics.
She has touched many people’s lives and was a Friend to many.
The family would like to extend gratitude to many of her Care Givers over the Years.
Family and friends are invited to remember Shirley’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday, March 26th from 9:30-11 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with burial in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests donations in Shirley’s memory be sent to Notre Dame Health Care.
