CASCO, ME. - Shirley Ann (Jones) Tremblay, 64, of Casco, Maine, formerly of Auburn, N. Grafton, Ellsworth (ME.), Millbury, and Worcester, MA., passed away Aug. 6, 2005, in the Central Maine Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Shirley attended schools in Auburn and Grafton, MA, but graduated from Ellsworth High School. A devoted and caring mother, Shirley was most proud of having raised three successful sons. She worked at the distribution center at the former Fair in Worcester for many years. In 2002, she moved to Maine to live with her son Stephan and his wife Holly to help care for their son, Hayden Angler.
Shirley was predeceased by her mother, Marion Aubin, a brother, Douglas Jones, infant daughter, Ann Marie, infant granddaughter, Faith Ann, and her longtime companion John Torrey.
She will be deeply missed by her father, Douglas Jones of Ohio; sons, Michael, of Oxford, Stephan, and his wife Holly, of Casco, ME., and Raymond Jr. "Tubby" of Millbury; her siblings, Donna Sakenes of Severna Park, MD., Richard Jones of N. Grafton, Gerald Aubin of Millbury, Marcia Bernard of Millbury, Cathy Lavalley, Steven, Stuart, Robert, Michael, and Scott Jones, all of Ohio; her stepfather, Arthur Aubin of Millbury; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 11th, at the Mulhane Home for Funerals 45 Main St., Millbury, MA. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, Aug. 12th, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
