SHREWSBURY Shirley V. (Johnson) Wengelin, 82, formerly of Old Mill Rd., died Tuesday, June 1st in St. Vincent Hospital.
Her husband Lawrence Wengelin died many years ago. She leaves a sister-in-law and many nephews, nieces and grand nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Henning and Ellen (Carlson) Johnson and was raised in Millbury and lived in Shrewsbury for many years. She graduated from Millbury High School.
Mrs. Wengelin was a bookkeeper for Norton Co. in Worcester many year, before she retired.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 4th in All Faiths Cemetery, 7 Island Rd. Worcester. There are no calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury is in charge of the arrangements.
