BLACKSTONE Solange J, "Sally" (Kappelle) Stryk, 73, of 25 Power St., died Thursday, May 28th in St. Camillus Health Center, Whitinsville.
Her husband, John Stryk died in 1989. She leaves two daughters, Sharon A. LaCrosse of Millbury and Shelia A. wife of Dr. Gregory Walker of Derby, Vt.; two brothers, Pierre "Ray" Kappelle of Blackstone and Fernand Kappelle of Hawaii; two sisters, Jeannine Carey of Uxbridge and Lorraine Ryan of Blackstone; six grandchildren, Derek, Brandon and Alex LaCrosse of Millbury and Cyrus, Ryley and Bailey Walker of Vermont; nephews and nieces, among which is Debra Froelich of Douglas. She was born in Woonsocket, R.I. daughter of Jacque and Clara (Beaudoin) Kappelle and has lived in Blackstone most of her life.
Mrs. Stryk was a secretary at C.D. Burnes Co. in North Smithfield, R.I. for many years, before retiring. She did quilting and folk art for Earth Songs, in Millbury.
Memorial calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m.Thursday, June 3rd in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309 Dallas, Texas 75265-0309.
