Stanley C. Dow, 88, died Tuesday, Nov.27th in the Life Care Center of Auburn.
His wife, Claire P. (DeLorme) Dow died in 2003. He leaves four sons, Martin D. Dow, with whom he lived, Stanley A. Dow of Brookline, NH, Curtis J. Dow and Kevin M. Dow both of Auburn, five grandchildren, Michael, Nina, Brandon, James and Jarred; his brothers, Richard Dow and Donald Dow; his sisters, Geraldine Pooler and Betty Lou LeClaire.
He was born in Caribou, Maine and is predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Nina (Gildert) Dow, a son, Stephen C. Dow, a brother, Clayton Dow and a sister, Charlene Deso.
Stanley was a Member of Teamster Local 170 and a Class 1 Mechanic for 16 years at Holmes Transportation in Framingham, prior to his retirement. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Millbury for many years and was an avid snowmobiler.
A private funeral Mass was held in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 14 Waters St. in Millbury and burial was private in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
