GRAFTON Stanley C. Moore, 85, formerly of Williams Road, North Grafton, died Sunday, June 20th in Millbury Health Care Center.
His wife, Mildred A. (Garceau) Moore died in 1988. He leaves two daughters, Dorothy A. Potter of East Brookfield and Mildred A Hertz of Shrewsbury; a son, Richard S. Moore of Springvale, Maine; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren He was born in Millbury, son of Harry G. and Mary F. (Whipple) Moore. He is predeceased by three brothers, Elwin, Harry and Ellsworth Moore.
Mr. Moore was a truck driver for Red Star Express Inc. for many years, retiring in 1984. He was an Army veteran during WW II serving in the European African Middle Eastern Theater and he was a member of the Millbury Federated Church.
His funeral will be held Thursday, June 24th at 10 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 23rd, in the funeral home.
